School Trip Planning Information
Everything teachers and trip leaders need to plan an escape room school trip
in London, including safety, supervision, timings, learning outcomes, and
group information.
Risk Assessment Support
We can provide key venue and activity information to help schools prepare
their own risk assessment before visiting. Our escape rooms are private,
timed experiences run by trained game hosts, with staff available
throughout the visit to support the group.
Age Suitability
Our school trip experiences are best suited to students aged 9 and above,
including primary school groups, secondary school students, colleges, and
university groups.
Capacity and Group Sizes
Escape London can accommodate school groups of all sizes across our four London venues. Students are divided into smaller teams and can play multiple escape rooms simultaneously, making the experience ideal for class groups, year groups, reward trips, enrichment days, and end-of-term activities. We have successfully hosted school events for up to 80 international students, demonstrating our ability to organise larger educational group experiences smoothly and safely.
Session Length
Most escape room experiences last around 60 minutes, with additional time
needed for arrival, briefing, team organisation, and photos after the game.
We recommend allowing around 90 minutes for the full visit.
Learning Outcomes
Escape rooms encourage students to communicate clearly, listen to each
other, think creatively, manage time, solve problems under pressure, and
work as a team.
Supervision
Teachers and group leaders remain responsible for student supervision
during the visit. Our team will brief each group before the game, monitor
gameplay, and provide help where needed.
Accessibility

accessibility requirements.
